39th ECFC Annual Conference

A Message FROM ReP. AXNE

In light of the cancelation of the 39th ECFC Annual Conference due to the coronavirus, we want to ensure that membership is aware that we’re still engaging with the Hill. We’d like to share a message from Rep. Cindy Axne (D-IA-3), who has been instrumental in moving our priorities forward. She and Rep. Pete Stauber (R-MN-08) introduced the bipartisan Improving Child Care for Working Families Act to increase the cap on how much families can place in their dependent care assistance plans from the current level of $5,000 to $10,000.

Unfortunately, the 39th Annual Conference has been cancelled due to concerns over COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The safety of our attendees is paramount and a number of circumstances beyond our control have made it impossible for us to hold the event. Planning for this event had become increasingly difficult, as many ECFC member companies imposed travel restrictions on their employees. In addition, most Congressional offices have informed ECFC that they would no longer be holding in-person meetings.

If you have reservations at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, please make sure to contact the hotel to cancel your reservations.
